1. Service Description
AlpAI is a mobile app that helps the user plan mountain tours, review weather information, follow safety guidelines, and generally prepare for a visit to the mountains. The app is informational in nature and acts as a support tool — not as a replacement for professional judgment, guidance, or official information.
2. Safety Notice
AlpAI is exclusively an informational aid. It does not replace your own judgment, official weather and avalanche warnings (ARSO, LPS), mountain guides, trail markings, rescue services, or any professional assistance. All decisions in the mountain world remain the exclusive responsibility of the user.
3. Terms of Use for Individuals
The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use. The user agrees that they:

- will not use the service for unlawful purposes,
- are at least 13 years old or have the permission of a legal guardian.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, logos, and software code are the property of AlpAI or its licensors. These terms of use grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal use of the app. No rights are transferred to you other than as expressly stated in these terms.
5. Limitation of Liability
AlpAI provides the service as is, without any express or implied warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. AlpAI assumes no responsibility for:
- inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information in the app,
- decisions the user has made based on the app's content,
- injuries, accidents, or property damage occurring during or after a mountain tour,
- interruptions in operation or technical failures of the service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AlpAI's total liability does not exceed the amount the user has paid for the service in the last 12 months.
6. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you confirm that you have read and accept the policy.
7. Purchases and Subscriptions
If the app offers paid features or subscriptions in the future, additional purchase terms apply, which will be clearly displayed before each transaction. Refunds are handled in accordance with the platform rules (Apple App Store or Google Play) and applicable law.
8. Third-Party Platform Terms (Apple and Google)
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The terms of these platforms also apply to purchases and downloads:
Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and bear no responsibility for the app or its content. In the event of a dispute regarding the app, Apple/Google is a third party without obligations.
9. Changes to the Terms
AlpAI reserves the right to change these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or email. Continued use of the service after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
